SUVs have changed the way many families travel. Every family is different in size, needs, and preferences. 6 passenger SUVs have given people a number of options especially in recent history. No longer are families, especially large families, restricted to either a station wagon or a van.

The following six Ford and Chevy SUVs will show how thing’s have changed considerably and have people the ability to choose from a variety of styles, features and manufacturers.

Chevy’s small SUV is the Equinox. This five passenger SUV offers plenty of leg space and ample storage space in the back. Ford’s five seater SUV is the Escape.

The Ford Escape is very comparable to the Chevy Equinox as far as foot room and storage space is considered and with a starting price of about $20,000. It averages 28 mpg hwy while the Ford Escape Hybrid averages 31 mgp hwy. XLS, XLT, and Limited are the three different packages offered all with different features to fit the needs of those buying.

The Tahoe is Chevy’s full-size SUV. The Tahoe can fit anywhere from seven to nine passengers depending on the package of the vehicle. The Tahoe is well known for it’s exterior design as well as its extremely roomy inside.

Its starting price is around $29,000 and offers four different packages: XLT, Eddie Bauer, XLT Sport, and Limited.
The roomy Chevy Suburban is Chevy’s largest SUV. This very roomy SUV can seat up to nine people and has plenty of storage room for a large family. Its starting price is around $42,000 and gets up to 21 mpg hwy. This large SUV is offered in three different packages: LS, LT, and LTZ.
Ford’s largest SUV is its Expedition. This large SUV has the capacity of fitting up to eight people and has plenty of storage space. Its starting price is set at about $35,000 and can get up to 20 mpg hwy. The ford Expedition gives customers plenty of package options. The eight different options are the XLT, XLT EL, Eddie Bauer, Limited, Eddie Bauer EL, King Ranch, Limited EL, and King Ranch EL.

6 or More Passenger SUVs
